September 30, 2020 – 24Bite marks its first anniversary. Over the past year, fifteen-year-old Christian Guzman and his mother have worked together to grow the blog and share his passion for cooking.
“The website honors my great-grandmother, who loved to cook and even ran Brookshaven Café,” Christian explains. That family love of food has inspired him from a young age and motivates the recipes he develops and shares on 24Bite.
In addition to publishing detailed recipes on the 24Bite recipes site, Christian plans to expand the brand with a YouTube channel targeted for 2021 and a cookbook currently slated for 2022. These projects aim to make his recipes more accessible and to show how easy and fun cooking can be for families and young cooks.
“I’ve filled 24Bite® with pizzas and Mexican dishes—my favorites,” says Christian. “I’ll also experiment with other flavors and techniques along the way. Cooking should be fun, and I want people to try things at home.”
Pizza features prominently as a comfort-food favorite on the site. Recipes range from classic family-style pies to creative spins like the buffalo chicken pizza pictured above. These recipes include step-by-step instructions and tips to help home cooks replicate restaurant-style flavors in their own kitchens.
